Local boxing champion gives birth to girl

Mandy Bujold will be trading in the boxing gloves for diapers.

The Kitchener boxer has announced the birth of her daughter, Kate Olympia McIver, who was born on November 5 at 7:47 p.m.

The 11-time National Boxing Champion took to Twitter to announce little Kate is “home sweet home” after a week-long stay in the neo-natal intensive care unit.
