ION train in minor collision two days after launch

ION trains have resumed service after a minor collision that took place in Kitchener.

The collision happened earlier this afternoon on Mill Street South and Ottawa Street South.

A red sedan reportedly hit the corner of the train, resulting in scratches.

No injuries have been reported and a GRT bus was sent to retrieve awaiting ION passengers.

This is the fifth incident that the ION has been involved in.

The ION service just launched within the Region on Friday.
