Frost advisory lifted (update)

***Update: The frost advisory was lifted shortly after 9 a.m. Friday***

It's expected to be chilly overnight and into Friday morning.

For that reason, Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for Waterloo Region.

The weather agency advises residents take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

But things are expected to warm up on Friday. The forecast is calling for sunshine and a high of 18.
