Child Witness Centre announces new executive director

Kim Rodrigues will become the Child Witness Centre's new executive director on May 25.
The announcement was made by the centre's board of directors on Monday.
“I have dedicated my career to helping those who are most vulnerable in our community to have a voice and build their capacity for resilience. Together with the committed and caring team of the Child Witness Centre I will be championing our important work to support, educate and advocate for children and youth who are or may become victims or witnesses of abuse or crime, enabling them to build bright futures.” she said in a release.
Rodrigues comes to the organization from Hopewell Children's Homes in Guelph, where she also served as executive director.
The Child Witness Centre provides support, education and advocacy for children and youth under the age of 18 in Waterloo Region, Guelph and Wellington County who are or may become victims or witnesses of abuse or crime.
