***Update: All lanes reopened just before 4 p.m. on Thursday***
Traffic headaches on the westbound 401 in Cambridge for much of the day on Thursday.
It was due to a truck fire near Highway 8.
The truck, loaded with garbage, caught fire around 3 a.m.
Ontario Provincial Police Sergeant Kerry Schmidt says no one was hurt.
All lanes reopened just before 4 p.m., they were closed for almost 13 hours.
Schmidt said crews will return to finish the cleanup on Thursday evening and when that happens the right lane will need to be closed.
The King Street on-ramp also remains closed. No reopening time known.
At 9 a.m., there was a 10 km backup as a result of the closure.
Despite no flames to be seen from the outside, smoke is coming out heavily from this trailer, with crews continuing to work. No timeline on when WB 401 will open, looks like it'll be a while. pic.twitter.com/BcqvtNi7q6
