Kitchener mechanic celebrates second big lottery payday

“Winner! Gagnant!”

It’s music to the ears of many, but for one man in Kitchener, it’s the second time it’s become a reality.

Doug Campbell, a local mechanic in Kitchener and father of three, has won over $177,000 on his latest lottery win through OLG’s Poker Lotto All-In jackpot. He says he plays daily through various lottery games.

“I was in the store when I asked the retailer for a Poker Lotto All-In ticket,” said Campbell while picking up his winnings at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “When the lottery terminal froze, I was a little stunned.”

He officially won on Dec. 9, 2024, and says he’s only told his children since then. Campbell says he purchased the ticket at a Circle K on Activa Avenue in Kitchener.

This isn’t his first big win though, taking home $100,000 back in 2021 through OLG’s Encore.

“It feels fantastic to have won this prize. I’m going to invest, and I might even treat myself to a trip.”
