Volunteers needed for local Christmas Hamper Program

By Erin Anderson

There's just one month to go until Christmas Day, but the season of giving is already in full swing in Waterloo Region.

The Kitchener Conestoga Rotary Club is hoping you're in the spirit and can help put together some items for this year's Christmas Hamper Program.

Volunteers are needed to start assembling the care packages this week, which will go to over 4,000 local families in need of support over the holidays.

If you'd like to help, you can RSVP by clicking here.

Volunteers will need to be at the Food Bank's headquarters on Alpine Court this Wednesday, beginning at 5 p.m.

There's also plenty of other opportunities to give back, including signing up to deliver Christmas Food Hampers and turkeys. You can learn more by clicking here
