About Brent
Brent graduated from the University of Guelph in 2018 before attending the Radio Broadcast program at Conestoga College. He graduated that program in April of 2020. During his time at Conestoga, Brent learned the basics of radio operation including news reporting, on air production and anchoring. Brent spent the summer of 2019 working for Conestoga's radio station, 88.3 CJIQ as a news anchor.
Brent joined the CityNews 570 team in October of 2020 as a evening producer before transitioning into the newsroom in January of 2022. In the newsroom Brent contributes as a Traffic Reporter, News Reporter and Weekend Anchor.
Brent was born in Newmarket, Ontario and has lived in Kitchener for the last six years. In his spare time, he enjoys video games, Star Trek and soccer.
