The Kitchener Rangers will be suiting up in their 6th Annual Remembrance Day Jersey this afternoon when they face London.
The jerseys will be available for fans to obtain through the annual Remembrance Day Jersey Auction during the game.
In the past five years the Rangers commemorative jersey auctions have raised more than $136,000.
The 2010 commemorative jersey pays tribute to the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada.
The reserve regiment has two armouries, one is right beside the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium, the other is in Cambridge.
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the KW Poppy Fund and the 78th Fraser Highlanders Fort Conestoga Garrison’s Veteran Support Programs.
The team is also asking fans to wear red to the game on Sunday in
support of our troops and to pay tribute to our veterans.
