E-biker seriously hurt in Cambridge crash, charges expected

A young Kitchener man on an e-bike is recovering from serious injuries after a crash in Cambridge Thursday night.

Around 10:45 p.m., police were called to the crash between a vehicle and an e-bike on Kossuth Road near Cober Road.

That’s not too far from the Region of Waterloo International Airport in Breslau.

The man on the e-bike, a 24-year-old from Kitchener, was sent to hospital with serious injuries.

A 57-year-old man was behind the wheel of the involved vehicle.

It remains unclear what caused the collision, but police said charges are anticipated.

Anyone who saw the crash is asked to reach out to investigators.
