Tubing season opens at Elora Gorge

The gorge is deep, the walls are steep, and the Grand River is ready to take you for a ride.

A favourite activity of Ontarians in the summer is coming back, starting Friday, as the Elora Gorge Conservation Area opens tubing season.

It’s just one part of the fun happening at the gorge this summer, with hiking and kayaking also featured activities included in the day pass.

The tubing season requires people to buy tickets in advance of arriving at the conservation area, and they can be purchased up to three days in advance. Tickets aren’t for sale at the kiosk.

To participate, people need a helmet, a life jacket, and of course, a tube. If you don’t have access to those items, they are available for rent on site for a fee.

Tubing prices and the price of day-use admission can be found here.
