Ian McLean, Karen Redman re-elected to WRPS Board

It’s a stamp of approval for the heads of Waterloo Region’s police services board.

On Wednesday, the Waterloo Regional Police Services (WRPS) Board voted to re-elect Ian McLean and Karen Redman to their respective roles.

McLean is the President and CEO of the Greater K-W Chamber of Commerce and has led the WRPS Board since January 2024.

Karen Redman was the previous chair of the police board from 2019 to 2024, and has been Vice-Chair since then.

Redman is also the current Regional Chair, a position she’s held since 2018.
