Police investigate hit-and-run that left one in hospital

A 76-year-old woman is in hospital after sustaining physical injuries in a hit-and-run collision in Cambridge.

It happened on Nov. 30 around 2 p.m. when a white pickup truck struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Jamieson Parkway, police said.

The pedestrian was identified as a 76-year-old woman and was sent to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Waterloo regional police are investigating and asking anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dash cam footage to contact police.

Anyone with information is asked to call 519-570-9777, extension 8856.

Anonymous tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers.
