You can help make the holidays brighter for local children, youth and families through the 570 NewsRadio Tree of Hope 50/50.
The campaign officially launched on Friday, Nov. 14, and the fundraiser supports the Family and Children’s Services (FACS) Foundation.
All the money raised stays in Waterloo Region and goes toward crucial programs, services and scholarships provided by the FACS Foundation.

There’s a guaranteed take-home prize of $50,000, but that pot will continue to grow the more you give.
There are also several Early Bird Prizes up for grabs over the coming weeks, and the schedule can be found below:
- Week of Nov. 14: Kitchener Rangers VIP Experience; includes a meet-and-greet with a player, a hockey stick signed by the team, and a behind-the-scenes seat in the broadcast booth with Mike Farwell during a game. *Winner will be announced Nov. 21 at 8 a.m.
- Week of Nov. 21: Two tickets to see the Jonas Brothers live at TD Coliseum in Hamilton on Dec. 14th, 2025 and $1,000 cash. *Winner will be announced Nov. 28 at 8 a.m.
- Week of Nov. 28: Two tickets to see Ed Sheeran live at Rogers Centre on Aug. 21, 2026 and $1,000 cash. *Winner will be announced Dec. 5 at 8 a.m.
- Week of Dec. 5: $2,500 Christmas cash courtesy of Heffner Lexus Toyota. *Winner will be announced Dec. 12 at 8 a.m.
The Grand Prize Draw will be held Dec. 18 at 8:30 a.m.
