Victim ambushed in buy-and-sell robbery in downtown Kitchener

What was supposed to be a buy-and-sell exchange turned violent in downtown Kitchener.

A victim met up with a group of strangers to sell property but was allegedly ambushed by a group of men.

According to police, the victim sustained minor injuries after they were hit and assaulted with an unknown object.

This all happened in the Joseph Street and Gaukel Street area around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

One of the suspects is described as a Black man who is believed to be between 40 and 50-years-old, 6 feet tall, with black dreadlocks.
