Kitchener Rangers and London Knights tangle in the Forest City

The Kitchener Rangers have one more game to play before they head back to the friendly confines of the Memorial Auditorium.
Kitchener concludes an extended five-game road trip Tuesday in London against the league-leading Knights. Just ahead of the road trip, Kitchener rolled past London 5-2, then proceeded to win three of their next four, leading up to tonight’s match-up.
Through it all, London remains in top spot in the Ontario Hockey League and the Rangers are three games back. A road win tonight would move Kitchener to within three points of first overall, though the Knights have two games in hand.

Meanwhile, the OHL has released its weekly Top 10 Power Ranking and East Avenue Blue remain in the top spot. Just below them, the Windsor Spitfires moved into second and London slipped to third. The Spits downed the Knights 4-3 on Sunday.
There are a pair of games on tap this weekend for the Rangers. Friday at home to Owen Sound and then the team hits the road Saturday for a tilt in St. Catharines against the Ice Dogs.
