Otis and Ophelia move to winter home in Elora

By Christine Clark

A pair of beloved local birds are getting cozy as the temperatures drop and the chillier days of autumn make themselves known.

Otis and Ophelia are back in their winter home in Elora.

The pair head to a swan sanctuary every year to stay warm and healthy during the late-fall and winter months.

The City of Kitchener posted on social media about the swans Thursday saying Otis and Ophelia are safe in their new temporary home.

The pair will make their return to Victoria Park in the spring.
