Collision between ION and pedestrian brings injuries, brief service interruption

A collision between an ION train and a pedestrian put that person in hospital.
Regional Police tell CityNews 570 it happened Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m., at the LRT station on King Street West near Victoria Street.
For now, police are only saying it was a male who was hurt, who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The collision caused an interruption of ION service between Grand River Hospital and Borden Station.
That was cleared up in less than an hour.
