Multiple teenagers arrested following incident at Fairview Mall in Kitchener

Regional Police arrested multiple people after an incident at Fairview Mall in Kitchener on Friday.
They responded to the mall around 3:05 p.m., after reports of individuals with knives.
A victim was found who had been assaulted and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Following an initial investigation, two youths and a 19-year old-Kitchener man were arrested and charged with several offences.
A youth from Waterloo and a youth from Cambridge were both charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. As well, the youth from Cambridge was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.
The Kitchener teenager was charged with the same offences as well as possession of suspected fentanyl.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
