Police seek to identify two individuals following theft and robbery in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police’s Robbery Unit continue to investigate after a vehicle stolen from Cambridge was involved in a theft and robbery in Kitchener, now looking to identify and speak to two individuals who may have been involved.
According to police, those individuals may be staying in the Stanley Park area of Kitchener.
It was on Saturday around 1 a.m. when regional police were notified of a black Honda Civic that had been stolen from the Christopher Drive and Ironstone Drive area of Cambridge.
Shortly after, police said that vehicle was reportedly involved in a gas theft incident at a gas station in the Homer Watson Boulevard area of Kitchener.
Later the same morning around 4:45 a.m., the driver and passenger of that stolen Honda Civic drove to a convenience store in the Lorraine Avenue and Lackner Boulevard area, where one of the subjects brandished a knife toward a store employee before stealing merchandise.
Both subjects are said to have fled the area in that stolen Honda towards Stanley Park.
Anyone with information that could assist police in their investigation is asked to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
Investigators are looking to identify and speak with two individuals believed to have been involved in an ongoing robbery investigation.
