Waterloo Regional Police have released the identity of a man they'd like to locate in relation to an ongoing criminal investigation.
25-year-old Dylon Kieffer is said to frequent the Kitchener area, and is currently wanted on the strength of a warrant for three counts of failing to comply with a judicial release order.
According to police, Kieffer was released from custody and is bound to comply with the terms of his release. Police also note that Kieffer is supposed to wear a GPS monitoring device, though an investigation has revealed that device was removed.
While police have asked for the public's assistance in locating Kieffer, anyone that spots him is asked to not approach as he is considered to be dangerous.
Those that spot the man are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
Kieffer is wanted in relation to a vehicle theft in Kitchener that occurred on November 19 in the area of Cambridge Avenue and Fife Avenue.
In that incident, officers tried to stop the stolen vehicle in the Greenbrook Drive and Westmount Road East area, resulting in the driver of the vehicle striking two marked police cruisers while trying to flee.
That incident saw Kieffer arrested, along with a 29-year-old Kitchener man, as well as the seizure of suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, hydromorphone and a replica firearm.
Anyone with information that could assist police in locating Kieffer is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
