Gunshots fired near Fairview Park mall (update)

Gunshots were fired near Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener early Thursday morning.
The Greenfield Avenue and Kingsway Drive area is closed and there continues to be a heavy police presence there.
Police told CityNews 570, they received calls around 3 a.m. It involved several shots being fired at a vehicle, according to a police spokesperson.
Waterloo Regional Police also say it appears the incident was targeted.
Officers will be doing a canvass of the area. A command post is also being set up.
