Police seize drugs during Kitchener traffic stop

A 37-year-old Kitchener man is facing numerous charges after a traffic stop in the city.

It went down around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, in the area of Weber Street East and Kinzie Avenue. 

The driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Police also seized suspected cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine and other controlled substances. 

The accused faces charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (seven counts), possession of stolen property, and operation of a conveyance while prohibited.
