Ministry of Labour investigating workplace accident in Kitchener

Regional police were called to the area of Victoria Street North and Forwell Road in Kitchener on Tuesday for reports of a workplace accident.
Officers received the call around 2:30 in the afternoon, and responded to the business.
Police say a 55-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries “after being pinned by industrial equipment.”
The man was taken to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services.
The Ministry of Labour has been made aware of the incident, and will continue the investigation.
