A dryer vent is not a replacement for an exhaust, regional police say

The Technical Support Unit (TSU) for regional police continues to enforce modified vehicles.

Officials are reminding drivers not to replace your muffler with a straight pipe or dryer venting.

This comes after three vehicle inspections and 13 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act and the Environmental Protection Act on July 4.

Police added your vehicle will be taken off the road if it is made unfit, and your plates will get removed.
