Celebrate geek culture at Cambridge Comic Arts Festival

CAMBRIDGE COMIC ARTS FESTIVAL

It will be a day of costumes, creativity, and comics at Idea Exchange during the Cambridge Comic Arts Festival.
The event is a chance to meet comic artists, take pictures with cosplayers, shop at local vendor booths, and enjoy a day of geek culture with the whole family.
Conestoga College is sponsoring a Zine Workshop in the morning from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and, in the afternoon, an Awesome Patches Workshop is on from 1:15 to 3:30 p.m.
The Round Table Waterloo will be at the event all day with an automated Harry Potter trivia, for magic folks and muggles alike.
Other activities for the day include Superhero Stay and Play activities for kids and a superhero green screen.
The Cambridge Comic Arts Festival takes place on Saturday, August 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Idea Exchange, Queen's Square, 1 North Square, Cambridge.
The event is free and all are welcome to attend. Cosplay encouraged but not required.
