Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a stolen service dog.

Around 2 a.m. on Sunday, a 28-year-old woman said she secured her dog to a railing and walked into a fast food restaurant in the Bloor Street West and Ossington Avenue area.

While she was inside, someone allegedly unclipped the dog from its harness and stole it.

The dog, named Princess, is a six-year-old Teacup Chihuahua.

She is described as six pounds, medium-brown hair with blonde stripes. She was wearing a pink body harness.

Princess is a registered service dog.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto Police at 416-808-1400.
