The coaching staff that will lead Canada’s National Under-18 Hockey Team has no shortage of local flavour.
Former Kitchener Rangers player Paul McFarland was named head coach of the squad on Wednesday.
His assistants are former Rangers defenceman Darren Rumble and Mark French, a former coach with the Laurier Golden Hawks.
Hockey Canada says player invites will go out in the coming weeks.
Players will then head to Calgary in late July for the Summer Showcase.
