A new exhibit opens at THEMUSEUM today.
It’s called Rethinking Art and Machine and was curated by Marla Wasser and the idea for the show was created in Kitchener.
CEO David Marskell says the exhibit displays the humanization of machines. The show is also very interactive, one of the pieces of art plays sound when your shadow touches it.
Given the nature of the exhibit, Marskell adds they’ve been in contact with several companies locally, such as Communitech, because he says those workers will appreciate the show on a whole different level.
Marskell adds the show will also go on tour to several places across Canada, which he says will just give more positive attention to the Kitchener/Waterloo region.
It will even make a stop in China.
The exhibit wraps up January 22nd and features artists from 5 different countries, including Canada.
