Hike at the pumps

We haven’t seen a jump at the pumps like this for some time.

The price of gas in Kitchener-Waterloo is expected to rise by almost 3 cents a litre overnight.

Gas price watcher Dan McTeague says the average price will rise to 96.7 cents a litre.

That announcement comes the same day the price of oil gained $2.80 to $77.23 U-S a barrel.
