Suspect at large after bear spray attack in Kitchener

Police say a Saturday night fight in Kitchener led to a bear spray attack.

Officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service were called out around 11 that night to Chandler Drive, which runs beside Highway 7/8 between Strasburg Road and Westmount Road East.

Police say there were two groups of people, with one adult suspect using bear spray on two victims.

They suffered only minor injuries.

The suspect was gone before police arrived. There is no suspect description at this time.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
