80-year-old Kitchener man facing child exploitation charges

Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) have a man in custody, facing multiple child sexual exploitation charges.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Criminal Investigations – Toronto Division continues an investigation into individuals offering pay-per-view live-streaming webcam shows of child sexual exploitation.
They recently contacted WRPS Cybercrime/Internet Child Exploitation Unit about a local suspect.
On Friday, WRPS arrested an 80-year-old Kitchener man.
Charges include:
- Agree and/or arrange to commit a sexual offence against a child (two counts)
- Sexual assault (party to offence)
- Obtaining sexual services for consideration from a person under 18 years
- Make child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation material
- Make available child sexual abuse and exploitation material
The man is being held pending a bail hearing.
