Police look to identify man after multiple store thefts

Waterloo regional police are searching for a suspect in connection with an ongoing theft investigation in Waterloo and they’re now asking for the public’s help in finding them.

It was on Monday when regional police said that a man stole merchandise “on at least four separate occasions” from stores in the Columbia Street West and Phillip Street area of Waterloo.

Those alleged thefts are believed to have happened between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Investigators have since shared the image of a person they’d like to identify in connection with those theft incidents, seen below.
