There’s a bit of light at the end of the winter tunnel coming next week for many happy campers.
Grand River Conservation Authority is launching its campsite booking system on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 8:00 a.m. People will be able to reserve for all eight of the authorities’ parks between May 1 and Oct. 15.
The reservations can be made for single or group camping, and a specialized fee is in place for organizations booking youth groups.
Most of the conservation areas have access for people to cool off, whether it be a pool, beach or splash pad. All have dumping stations and playgrounds.
