Overnight closure on Franklin Boulevard for water main repairs

The City of Cambridge says there will be an overnight closure on Franklin Boulevard for water main repairs.

The closure will affect southbound lanes between Bishop Street and Can-Amera Parkway.

“All lanes will reopen by mid-morning on Friday, February 6,” reads a social media post from the city.

The closure takes effect Thursday at 11 p.m.

Drivers are advised to follow posted detours and use caution in the area as crews complete the repairs.
