KW Oktoberfest bringing Bavarian fun into first weekend of October

As October rolls into its first weekend across Waterloo Region, KW Oktoberfest is getting set to continue, pushing into its second week.
The good news is that Mother Nature appears to be just as excited for the festive weekend, with sunny skies and a humid weekend in store.
It’s set to make for a summer rewind as the region continues to push into the early weeks of autumn.
The list of KW Oktoberfest events throughout the weekend includes:
- 41st Annual Oktoberfest Free Family Breakfast – Oct. 4 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., Bingemans
- Wonderfully Made Fall Market – Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Steckle Heritage Farm
- Kinderfest Fall Fair – Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Bingemans
- Goatfest 2025 – Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Concordia Club
- Oktoberfest at the Schwaben Club – Oct. 4 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., Schwaben Club
- The Return of Oktoberfist – Oct. 4 from 6:15 p.m. to 11 p.m., SydFit Health
- 54.40 at Bingemans KoolHaus – Oct. 4 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., Bingemans
- Mayor’s Oktoberfest Market – Oct. 5 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Uptown Waterloo on King St. between Bridgeport and Central
- Strappedtoberfest – Oct. 5 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Strapped Fitness

Plenty more events will run through the rest of the week, looking ahead, with the official keg tapping currently scheduled for Oct. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
