Police investigate hate-motivated threats in Kitchener

Waterloo regional police are investigating what they believe were hate-motivated threats in Kitchener.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, police were called to the Highland Road West and Lawrence Avenue area after a report of a man making threats towards another individual.

It’s unknown exactly what was said, but police have a few questions for the suspect.

He is described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 25-years-old and he was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.

The investigation is ongoing.
