A pair of Kitchener youths are now facing robbery-related charges, and a third remains at large, after an incident at a retail store in that city.
It was on Wednesday, around 1:20 p.m., when regional police were called to a retail business in the Ottawa Street South and Fischer Hallman Road area of Kitchener.
That call indicated that there had been a “physical disturbance” between three individuals and a loss prevention officer.
No physical injuries were reported as a result of the confrontation.
Police arrived on scene and arrested two of the involved suspects, a 16-year-old Kitchener male and a 15-year-old female, also from Kitchener.
Those two youth suspects are now facing charges of robbery and assault with a weapon, which is said to have been one of the items that the youths allegedly stole.
A second female youth is reported to still be outstanding, and police are looking to identify and locate them.
Anyone with information that could assist police in their investigation is asked to contact them at 519-570-9777.
