Motorcyclist killed in Kitchener crash

Police are investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Kitchener on Sunday.

According to Waterloo regional police, the incident took place at the intersection of Homer Watson Boulevard and Bleams Road at around 9 p.m.

A motorcycle and a vehicle collided at the intersection, which closed the intersection for several hours as police investigated.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital and later died from their injuries.

Anyone who witnessed or has footage of the collision is asked to contact police at (519)570-9777.

Sunday’s crash was the second fatal collision involving a motorcycle in less than one week after a 19-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Kitchener on Wednesday.
