Victoria Park to see fun, fundraising, foam in 5K Foam Fest

Plenty of excitement is on the way to Victoria Park throughout the day on Saturday, with the Electrolit 5K Foam Fest set to make its way into the region.
It’ll include inflatable waterslides, mud pits, and plenty of obstacles as it loops its way through the park. That’s along with upwards of 2.5 million cubic feet of foam.
The event is one of many expected to make its way to the region this summer, with the Foam Fest in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Participants are scheduled for select times throughout the day to battle the foamy course, but there’s still plenty of fun for anyone who’d rather spectate on the sidelines.
Victoria Park will also be filled with foam pits, a kids zone, live music, and plenty of food vendors throughout the day.
The event is set to run no matter what the weather holds, albeit a rain or shine event.
