Say cheese: Humane society launches pet photo contest for 2026 calendar

Is your canine or feline friend ready for their close up?

The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth (HSKWSP) has launched a pet photo contest for their next calendar, and there’s an open call for submissions.

Pet parents are asked to submit the cutest, silliest or sleepiest photo for consideration.

It’s $10 to enter and $1 to vote in the contest, which is presented by Pawtrips.

The top 12 pets will be featured in the humane society’s 2026 calendar, and they’ll get a professional photoshoot with Victor Rose Photography.

The contest runs until 10 p.m. on July 31 and you can find more information by clicking here.

Pre-orders are also available for the 2026 calendar, and all the proceeds support HSKWSP.
