4 people including, two children, sent to hospital in West Perth crash

A driver from Kitchener has been charged after a crash in West Perth.

Two vehicles collided at the Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 20 intersection around noon on Monday.

According to Perth County OPP, both vehicles were damaged beyond repair.

Four people were sent to hospital, including two small children. All of their injuries are described as being non-life-threatening.

Through an investigation, OPP charged a 20-year-old man from Kitchener with failing to yield.

Perth County OPP say they’re seeing an uptick in traffic to Lake Huron cottages and beaches, and are reminding all drivers to follow the rules of the road including posted speed limits.
