Muhammad Ali mini-series to feature Galt Arena, film crews in town

A portion of Shade Street in the Galt area of Cambridge transformed into Louisville, Kentucky this week, as filming continues on the highly anticipated Amazon Prime mini-series The Greatest.
The series chronicles Muhammad Ali’s life and career.
The City of Cambridge issued a filming notice, with Shade Street impacted between Dundas Street North and Kerr Street. The Galt Arena locker rooms will be the main focus for film crews, with some night scenes to be shot outside.
A city spokesperson tells 570 NewsRadio crews will be set up from Monday, May 26 to Wednesday, June 4 until 5:00 p.m.
Keep in mind various parking lots in the Galt, Hespeler and Preston core areas could also be impacted.
