Rangers back in enemy territory for Game 2 of Western Conference Finals

The Kitchener Rangers are heading back to the ice in enemy territory as they get set for Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

It comes as the Rangers took a blow to start the series, dropping Game 1 to the London Knights, 5-2.

London came out firing with five unanswered goals, three coming in the first six minutes of the game. They added a fourth before the end of the first period.

Luca Romano would get the Rangers on the board before the end of the second period to cut into the deficit. He would also add another in the third for his second of the game.

Rangers rookie defenceman Jacob Xu recorded his first career OHL point with an assist during Romano’s second-period goal.

It all comes as London has remained undefeated in the playoffs so far in 2025, with a 9-0 record.

The Rangers will be looking to even up the series in Game 2 Sunday afternoon in London before coming back to Kitchener on Monday for Game 3.

Puck drop is at 4 p.m., and it kicks off with the pre-game show hosted by Mike Farwell and Paul Fixter at 3:30 p.m. on 570 News Radio.
