Wet and warm weather for Easter long weekend

The outdoor Easter egg hunts might be a bit soggy this long weekend, but no one will need to hunt for any hats, mittens or scarves.
A wet and warm Easter long weekend is ahead, with double-digit highs and rain to start. The warm-up starts Thursday, after a week of bitter wind and April snow.
Jill Taylor, 570 NewsRadio Meteorologist, says the “fake Friday” is set to be sunny with a high of 13 C.
And after that? Get the umbrella handy for Good Friday.
“All the way up to 19 C on Good Friday! But we’ll be dealing with some showers in the morning, a bit of a break in the afternoon, and then some showers and storms for the evening. But 19 C for the high,” she said.
It will cool down a bit heading into Saturday.
“Looks dry for Easter Sunday and mainly cloudy, so great for those Easter egg hunts, 12 C, which is the average high,” Taylor said.
Those who have Easter Monday off, there’s a return of rain and a high of 12 C.
