Rangers hit the 100-point mark on the season with win over Owen Sound

For only the fourth time in franchise history, the Kitchener Rangers have crossed the century mark during the regular season with a 3-2 win over the visiting Owen Sound Attack.

Kitchener would surrender the first goal by Owen Sound at 1:51 in the second period by Landen Hookey. Christian Humphreys would even up the score at one a piece before the end of the third period.

The Ranger held a brief lead in the third with a goal by Trent Swick before Owen Sound would tie things at two. But it would be Jack Pridham who would score the game-winner less than two minutes later. Pridham would also received first-star honours for his three-point game.

The last time the Rangers reached the 100 point mark was back during the 2007-08 season. They join the London Knights as the only teams to hit that mark this season.

Currently, the Rangers sit at a 47-14-4-2 record, with 100 points and are second overall in the OHL standings.

The Rangers will wrap up their final game of the season when they head down Highway 7 to take on the Guelph Storm before playoffs begin next week.

Puck drop at Sleeman Centre is at 2 p.m.
