The Kitchener Rangers made it seven wins in seven games over their rivals down Highway 7.
The Rangers came out on top in a 4-3 contest over the Guelph Storm on Sunday night.
Blueshirts forward Adrian Misaljevic netted his 30th goal of the season, marking the first time in his young career that the young forward has achieved that milestone.
Rangers forwards Luca Romano and Jack Pridham also hit milestone marks on Sunday, each netting their 25th goals of the season.
“That puts the Rangers with 9 players with 10 plus goals, including degfenseman Camerson Reid with 14,” said 570’s Colour Commentator Paul Fixter. “When half your team has 10 plus goakls, that’s what’s called depth scoring, and a real balanced attack.”
In two weeks time, the Rangers will have an opportunity to complete the series sweep over the Storm.
“For Kitchener to beat Guelph 7 times in a row is really impressive, and I don’t care tghat there’s a 40-plus differential in the standings, you still have to play the game,” said Fixter.
Next up for the Kitchener Rangers is the Downtown Showdown on Tuesday afternoon before they host the North Bay Battalion at The Aud on Friday.
