Over $4,000 in makeup stolen from Guelph business

Police are looking for a pair of suspects after a theft from a business in Guelph resulted in nearly 300 items stolen.
According to a press release from officials in the Royal City, on Feb. 9, a man and woman went to a business near Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North. Police say the two took more than 300 cosmetic items and stashed them in a reusable bag and walked from the store. The press release notes that about $4,200 worth of makeup was stolen.
The first suspect is described as a man with a medium build, wearing a black puffy winter jacket with a hood and blue jeans. The woman has a medium build, wearing a black winter jacket with a hood, grey pants and carrying a black purse.
The stolen items were put in a black reusable bag with a rainbow logo.
Store staff believe the same people are also responsible for thefts in other regions nearby.
