SweetHearts for Hospice fundraiser is back

When it comes to care, the people who dedicate their lives to hospice are a step above.
So, when it comes to supporting their vital and meaningful work, you’d be hard pressed to find a more worthy cause.
Kitchener’s Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice, SweetHearts for Hospice campaign is underway, raising money for its Art from the Heart Legacy Program.
“One hundred per cent of the funds raised through this fundraiser help support that,” said Sarah Ainsworth, Lisaard & Innisfree Hospice, Fund Development Coordinator. “While we do get some government funding, our wrap-around services are not funded through the government, so we do rely on that through our fundraising efforts.”
Ainsworth said for $25, you’ll receive a wrapped box filled with curated treats from local vendors.
“We have wonderful staff and volunteers who will be assembling the boxes and wonderful local partners like CS Baked Goods, Thunderstorm Snacks, Reids Chocolates that have provided the goodies that go in them.”
