Single-vehicle crash with hydro pole in Elmira under investigation

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Elmira that triggered a road closure and hydro repairs.

The crash was reported Friday around 8:45 a.m. at the Floradale Road and Reid Woods Drive intersection.

Police said the involved vehicle struck a hydro pole. No one was injured.

The intersection was closed for a few hours Friday for hydro repairs.

Police continue to investigate the crash and are asking any witnesses, including those with video footage, to contact them at 519-570-9777, ext. 6399.
